Hammock

A woven hammock for between two trees.

Why is it useful?

Somewhere to be while the fire settles and the meat rests — the pause between arriving and eating.

How to use it

String it between two trees at least three meters apart, at chest height before anyone's weight is in it — it'll sag further once you're lying down. Woven cotton breathes better than synthetic weaves in the heat but shouldn't be left out in heavy rain. Store it dry and loosely coiled, not balled up, so the weave doesn't set with creases.
